From little things big things grow? In a Democracy that’s a given but in our Parliaments we ask “normal” “average” people to do the work for us and sometimes that small number is embarrassigly low. Never have so few, taken so much, for so little for so long. (unless you’re a mate ; )
Who would invade a real Democracy?
It would be too dangerous to the invading dictator to risk infecting his troops.
We’ve seen how often our “leaders” have taken us into illegal, immoral and unconscionable wars, why? Because they can.
Australia was born of corruption, from the first stills the Rum Corp set up that displaced legal tender through to today where parliament is now a branch office of big business, everyone is party to some form of corruption from the cash economy to the “political donations” that pay for influence and legislation. Democracy is a way to combat the perversions that are destroying the future.
