Meaning in search of a life, a life.
What is it to know?
I am one man in a vast planetary crowd of humans just like me, we make sense of the world around us as a matter of (un)conscious consensus, we form a shared knowledge, something we know to be important to us all, worth transmitting, knowledge that lessens threat and generates “prosperity”.
How is an insight, an invention, moved from the speculative periphery of concepts, ideas and ideology to shared knowledge, the truth of a matter expressed as law / lore, as a “fact” or direction written into the narrative of our life together?
Where does the idea come from?
For some it’s the inspiration that allows survival, a necessary solution to a potentially deadly problem
In my life there is the safety of my home, the peace and general security of my community, in a society that has created / imposed a shared respect, enforced by laws and undermined by corruption.
I am one of the blessed to live in this technological artifice far removed from the nature we no longer submit to, but bend to our way, our consumption, through the innovations of our technologies.
It has been apparent for decades that the lifestyle our culture promotes, as a central purpose, the consumer focussed economy that manufactures easy credit to purchase ever less meaningful produce from vast factories in foreign regimes run by psychopaths with large “security forces”, mass surveillance, death, violence and general mayhem rained down on any opposition.
This is a world where many of the protections for the planet and its resources, regardless of idealogy, has been bought out, collateral damage in the corporate take-over of all government that are run by party people, backed by large “security forces”, mass surveillance and mass detention.
A world where the consensus agrees to carry on with irreparably damaging and killing fellow humans, the countless billions of entities sharing this goldfish bowl of a planet perched on the lucky corner of our Galaxy.
The idea found me in 1985, there’s some contention as to how that idea arrived.

As to why the I experienced the entry of a knowledge that was not mine but complete, the understanding of a culture, a life that's like the life my body leads in this world, but, better in every way.
It relies on humanity achieving unity through engagement, by “gaming” out the real problems in life with your family, friends = anyone, anywhere, understanding something that builds to a vote in a culture that creates the laws and regulations that, finally, really, keep all the players in the market straight by the rules, no buying their way out of obligations to our community and environment.
So I consider
is this light real or subconscious construct by a stoned mind, a version of the experience everyone who experiences revelation has?
Or - was there something in my starlight?
My life emerged with the development of technology, it was rapid transition from those early PCs with their massive power supplies, tiny screens, artisanal motherboards fed by magnetic tape and disks to a world where knowledge, our shared culture, is pulsed around the planet by fibre optic superhighways carrying multi spectral laser light. Our entire fantastic 24 - 7 consuming opportunity economy is rooted in information travelling as light.
What we have here and have had for some decades, are all the tools to create a survivable world out of community choice and action, rather than the same action, the same calories per thought process in the decision to buy something. Subvert that literal power to making informed choices in every level of government that concerns you.
The time, the energy, the engagement are the same, the outcomes are not
Consumer culture = dead planet
Democracy = a way to avoid that destiny, while building personal esteem through socially useful actions contributing to the mission of leaving the world a better place than we found it.
Nothing changes but the real power relationship between you and the government. Votes, the course of legislation and law are no longer easily fixable as they are in the houses of parliament, the tiny minority given the power of “representation” to facilitate the proxy of Democracy, parliament, in the absence of the technology to allow us all the ability to engage, discuss and V O T E in real time
Parliament has become a critical conduit of content to the consumer news feed; pointless engagement / fixation in / on the real issues that affect you. Keeping the participants in the Big Houses is extremely expensive, they make impulsive crazy expensive commitments to the death cult of war technologies bleeding the nation for generations while using the Garden of Eden as the location for a non stop, open bar, no limits who can piss highest up a tree party.
Our parliaments are now to be counted as an existential threat to our precious little goldfish bowl on that blessed corner shelf of this galaxy.
The choice is becoming that stark people, choose to engage, or accept the networks are feeding you all these streaming end of the world dramas in the hope enough of us pick up sufficient survival tips to keep humanity ticking over until the last breath is drawn and the planetary oceans and atmosphere adapt to a new chemistry, a new biology.
The light - 3rd reflection.
Ok: we have sat here for generations on a through line to the next sharing the wonder of belief in a higher being, the creator, the giver of wisdom, law and language.
Maybe we are some pet project for an alien culture, one like us, but not like us, evolved, to a democracy where they harnessed the good of the shared existence and created a society capable of pan galactic travel, of anything a good idea creates.
Capable of planting a species in the gold fish bowl, gently refining the physical and social creature.
Back to the revelation being envisioned as a shining light; without fail every interaction with “UFOs” involves some sort of extremely bright pulsing light, every pulse carrying something, potentially, or just something to catch the attention, open the eyes, so the light can flood in and transmit “the idea” that becomes a science, a religion, an epiphany - that leads to unlimited energy from the interaction of sunlight / radiated energy and water.
Maybe there’s a very real need to evolve so we too can explore the galaxy and meet as equals, not as pets or prey. Or keep pressing play on consumer culture and doom the planet.
Get outside, stare at the stars, drink in the twinkling lights and get to discussing and deciding in a shared democracy. Maybe there really is someone/thing, a God, out there that cares what happens in this unique little gold fish bowl placed on the shelf in the lucky corner of the galaxy.
