Humans in the machine

For those of you who have no idea who I am let me introduce myself - Andrew Chambers, Australian, male, pale, not yet too stale, a citizen of of my shire, state and country who has always asked the question:

“Is this as good as it gets?”

Since 1985 that question has inspired my efforts in developing this nervous system for a Democracy.

We have the technology!

We now need the community, the humans in the machine, to deal with an impersonal series of technologies and help everyone through in making better decisions, sooner, with less cost and a load less fuss and confusion / waste.

We call them Infomarians. Smart people helping you understand the Proposal, make a contribution, hold people to account for harassment or humiliation, provide the help when you need to understand the system we can use to find freedom to have a conversation and a vote.

Take up our votes and start to decide issues instead of a politician of one of two parties and whoever they may represent.

Technology has always been on the arc and this is our push to achieve that aim.

Teams go nowhere without mates and I am blessed to share this journey with two such people:

Dr Alexander Hayes - designer, ethicist, artist, filmmaker, web magician, social actionist and my soundboard for so many ideas. Helping translate the many ideas into a coherent theme with focus.

Mr Paul Parker - coder, creative and long time correspondent from his eerie in Singapore, Paul has often called me to account for any verbose flourishes and now he’s here generously trying to help turn Consul into something more than it is. The man behind the lines he’s spent the last few years working on crypto projects.
